Filthy - I’ve been extremely disappointed with the cleanliness of this LA Fitness. On my most recent visit, there wasn’t a single sanitizing wipe available anywhere in the facility, making it impossible for members to clean equipment before or after use. After speaking with a couple of patrons and reading some of the reviews this seems to be a very common issue at this particular gym. Also, about two months ago, there was not a single paper towel in the bathrooms nor were there sanitary-wipes in the entire facility— totally disgusting. Many of the machines had visible hair, body oil, and built-up grime on them. It gave the impression that equipment wasn’t being cleaned regularly throughout the day. I brought these issues to the attention of management, but he seemed completely unconcerned, which was very disappointing. I’ve visited other gyms in the area, and the difference in cleanliness and maintenance is significant. Those facilities are consistently stocked with cleaning supplies, the equipment is well maintained, and the overall environment feels much more sanitary and professionally managed. Amongst the regulars that go to this time we discuss how bad this gym has gotten. I guess it all falls back to management. Everything people say about this place is true bad staff, amenities, and equipment that needs repairs. Saw a review saying they told the general manager about broken equipment and that the manager told them to call a phone number to report the issue so someone could come repair it, with that type of attitude nothing will get fixed here. Male manager doesn’t do his job I’m assuming. I’ve seen roaches and ants in the men’s sauna. This place also has a lot of theft, it’s not uncommon to see someone when they’ve just gotten their belongings stolen. Management could crack down on this type of crime but they don’t care about making the gym a safer place for their clientele. This place went down hill fast in the past two years. Had to switch gyms cause it was so bad here. Honestly take your business elsewhere, it’s not worth it. Jacuzzi has a film of grime floating at top when the jets aren’t running.

DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH LA FITNESS AT THIS LOCATION. Almost everything in this gym is broken at some point in time REPEATEDLY. Work out machines, showers, saunas being down, you name it’s. It’s been broken and most likely will happen again after getting “fixed”. Staff is horrible. They’ll hire anyone so that’s why they’re always struggling with staff cause no one works here long enough to care about doing a good job. Cleaning staff DOES NOT clean. Locker room is so filthy. MOLD. Manager whose name is Nike just sits there on computer and phone. HELLO YOUR GYM HAS PLUMBING ISSUES. Showers get clogged, GET TO WORK. And the real sad part is that the la fitness account ONLY replies to “good” reviews on here. So corny. They see the bad reviews and just skip them don’t acknowledge them. Only good reviews get replies. But the bad ones don’t even get taken into consideration. AVOID THIS GYM. LA FITNESS IN GRAND PRAIRIE IS NO GOOD. Zero stars if I could.

Much better than the one I have back home. Lots of variety and the locker rooms were clean. This one has a sauna and hot tub for those interested. If you have the extended membership you can bring guests which was useful for a friend and I.

This LA fitness club is the typical gym experience, which is fine, except what got me is that there were no sanitizing wipes to be found anywhere. Checked all the stations to try and clean equipment. Furthermore, all hand sanitizer pumps were empty as well. If you can’t afford to get sick right now, definitely don’t come to this one…
